Bidding opens for My Lovely Postcards

28th August 2019
Bidding has got off to a roaring start on My Lovely Postcards, Sobell House’s art exhibition and fundraising online auction, held every two years in memory of Beth Foreman. We’ve been delighted to see so much interest ahead of this weekend’s exhibition, and there’s certainly reason for all the excitement – we’ve received more than 280 mini masterpieces from 135 artists, meaning that there’s sure to be something to satisfy even the most discerning art lover. All the postcards have a starting bid of just £10, including postage and come framed – meaning that they make for lovely gifts!

If you’d like to see the work in person, please do come along to the exhibition at the Cloisters Gallery, St John the Evangelist, 109A Iffley Road, Oxford, OX4 1EH. It’s open to the public every day from 10.00 to 18.00 from Saturday 9th November to Monday 11th November.

All of the proceeds from the auction will go towards Beth’s Bursary Fund, which supports nurses to receive specialist education and training in palliative care. We’d like say a huge thank you to all of our brilliant artists for so generously donating their time and skills to craft these wonderful pieces – we couldn’t do this without you!

The auction closes at 9pm on Monday 11th November, so don’t miss out – bid today on www.givergy.uk/mylovelypostcards.
