Pot of Gold

Celebrate Sobell House Hospice’s 50th anniversary by holding a Pot of Gold Day during your autumn term 2026.

Pot of Gold Day is a fun, easy non-uniform day your school can hold on any weekday between September and December. Pupils can wear their own clothes, bright colours or even fancy dress while raising £1 or £2 each for a much-loved local cause.

We’ll provide a fundraising kit and can visit your school with a short, age-appropriate assembly to show pupils the difference their support makes. Donations can be collected in school or online.

As a thank you, every school receives a special letter, rainbow certificate and Bertie Bear teddy, plus entry into a December prize draw featuring visits from well-known Oxfordshire authors and illustrators.
