Make a Will Month
Throughout March 2021, several local solicitors are kindly giving you the opportunity to save money by having your Will written in exchange for a donation to Sobell House as part of our Make a Will Month.
Having an up-to-date Will gives you peace of mind and ensures your wishes are met after your death. It also gives you the opportunity to look after family and friends and support the causes you care about most.
How it works
Each solicitor has a limited number of appointments which must be arranged during or before March, but can take place at a later date. Due to the Covid-19 social interaction restrictions, some of the solicitors listed are only offering telephone or video appointments although they may ask for you to attend for a signing appointment. Please ask for more information when you make the initial phone call during Make a Will Month.
In return for their time, participating solicitors ask that you support Sobell House with a minimum suggested donation of £100 for a simple Will or £150 for a pair of simple mirror Wills. After you have agreed the new Will with the solicitor you can make donation at the time and hand to the solicitor or donate online here, quoting MAWM and the name of the solicitors in the comments
A gift in your Will is the foundation of Sobell House’s future
Your donation to the hospice instead of a fee will still help us to care for patients and families in Oxfordshire. However, we would be extremely grateful if you could consider remembering Sobell House in your Will, although there is no obligation to do so to benefit from our Make a Will Month.
Every year a quarter of our income comes from gifts in Wills, which helps us fund the range of care and support services provided at Sobell House. Can you help build the future of Sobell House by leaving a gift in your Will?
