Lights of Love
Join us to remember and celebrate those we have lost.
Sunday 12th December, 4-5pm
Lights of Love is our annual remembrance service. For many of our community, this is an important moment in the year, a chance to come together with others in a similar situation, to remember their loved one. This year we’re thrilled to be hosting it at the Sheldonian Theatre, a place we can gather together to remember those special people in our lives who are no longer with us. In addition, for those unable to attend in person, we will be streaming the service live online for you to join.
Our Lights of Love service will include special readings and choral songs, and we’ll light a candle for our loved ones during a display of their names. We will be illuminating our Tree of Love at the hospice as in previous years, which we’ll stream online for everyone to see. Each light on the tree will act as a reminder of a special person we have loved.
In addition, we invite you to write a message of love and remembrance on our special Memory Stars. The returned stars will be added to a beautiful display at the Sheldonian Theatre.
