We’re delighted to announce that Paul Chahidi, actor and star of BBC Three’s hit comedy series ‘This Country’, has become a Sobell House ambassador. He said:
“I am thrilled to be able to help raise awareness of this incredible place that looked after my dad with such exceptional care and compassion”
Paul will be helping us to spread the word about the care we provide, promoting our upcoming events and initiatives, as well as getting involved himself in a number of different ways. For example, he’s already shared a delicious recipe to include in our cook book, which is due to be published this November. This is what our Head of Fundraising, Lorraine Pink, said about Paul’s new role:
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Paul to Sobell House. Paul has a real understanding of the importance of hospice care and the support it provides to families as well as patients. We feel hugely privileged to have him as our ambassador and look forward to working with him for years to come”.
