By volunteering at Oxford Half

Location: Oxford City Centre
Date: Sunday 11 October

The Oxford Half is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Volunteer and help cheer for Team Sobell at designated cheer points along the course! You’ll make a massive difference to our runners.

By volunteering in our gardens

Location: Sobell House Hospice, Oxford
Dates: on set Thursdays

Our gardens are really important to our patients and their families, and we need your help to keep them looking in tip top shape! This role will involve weeding plants, tidying up the gardens, watering and pruning etc.

Please note: this involves manual work, including kneeling, bending, and being on your feet most of the day.

Lunch is provided at the hospice.

By volunteering at South Park Fireworks

Location: South Park, Oxford
Dates: Friday 6 November to Sunday 8 November

The organisers of Oxford’s biggest fireworks display, the Oxford Round Table, gift Sobell House an incredible £100 for each Sobell volunteer who signs up to help. So join Team Sobell at the fireworks and make a difference. You can help with:

Stewarding the gates at the event
Event take down

By volunteering as a Christmas present wrapper

Location: Westgate, Oxford
Dates: Monday 14 December to Sunday 20 December
Shift time: 12-5pm

Join Team Sobell this festive season at Westgate, Oxford where we have the fantastic opportunity to fundrasie by wrapping presents for customers in exchange for a donation to Sobell House. You don’t need to be an expert wrapper so please don’t hesitate to book your team a slot!
