It’s nearly time to wrap up warm, put on your wellington boots, and join together with our Sobell community for our much-loved Winter Walk! Next year’s walk takes place on Sunday 10th January and is the perfect way to start the year by getting active while raising vital funds for your local hospice.
The safety of our supporters has always been our priority, so we’ve decided to make our 2021 Winter Walk virtual, so that all participants remain safe and well and we can provide a fun-filled event knowing that our plans will not have to change.
Here’s how to take part…
- Purchase a ticket – all proceeds will help fund our work.
- Plan a route choosing a time and distance that suits you. If you’re stuck for ideas, click here for some inspiration!
- In the week leading up to the event, you will receive a participant pack and a 2021 Winter Walk scarf to wear on the day.
- On Sunday 10th January join our ‘start line’ live on our Facebook page, which will include live commentary, a great playlist, and a fun warm up in true Winter Walk tradition! Then head out on your walk and take lots of photos along the way.
Our Winter Walk typically raises around £10,000 and is one of our most popular events of the year. In these challenging times your support is needed more than ever, and we very much hope to have you taking part as a valued member of our Sobell community. Together, we can make a difference.
