Join the Sobell Business Club
The Sobell Business Club is a fantastic way for Oxfordshire companies to get involved with their local hospice and put caring with compassion and dignity at the heart of their Corporate Social Responsibility agenda. Depending on the size of your business, we have both Gold and Silver memberships to choose from, which you can read more about here.

Choose Sobell House as your Charity of the Year
Nominate Sobell House as your Charity of the Year and motivate and inspire your employees, customers and suppliers to raise as much money as they can for the Hospice and have fun in the process. We will work with you to create a bespoke calendar of engaging events, tailored to help meet your business goals and corporate social responsibility needs.
This is a great opportunity to unite your staff, customers and suppliers behind a worthwhile cause that they can identify with and feel passionate about – and have fun in the process. Fundraise for Sobell House
There are lots of different ways your company can get involved and fundraise for Sobell House – either as a team or as an individual representative.
Please visit our find a challenge page to discover some local and further afield events which you could take part in and help raise vital funds.
Alternatively, you may prefer to set your own challenge. It could be walking 5km every day for a month, completing an ultramarathon, or cycling to work and back for 90 days – the options are endless!
If an active challenge isn’t your thing, why not plan a fundraiser instead? We’ve had employees brave the shave, organise a bake sale, host live events, and so much more.
Whichever challenge or fundraiser you choose we recommend setting up a JustGiving page to collect online sponsorship.

Join us at a Sobell House networking event
Attend one of our Business Breakfast or Lunch events which we hold throughout the year. The emphasis is very much on having engaging speakers in great venues. Each event provides a great opportunity to learn more about Sobell House, network with local business people and hear from an interesting and relevant speaker.

We host a number of events such as our annual Winter Walk and Golf Day that are sponsored by local Oxfordshire businesses. This is a perfect opportunity to support the hospice and get your business out there in the community.

Take part in our Golf Day
Over the last ten years our annual Golf Day has gone from strength to strength and is a permanent fixture for many of our corporate supporters. Taking place at Studley Wood Golf Club, it is a great opportunity to have a brilliant day out, receive wonderful hospitality from the golf club, play 18 holes of golf, network and raise money to support the Hospice. This year’s Golf Day takes place on Friday 15 September.

Volunteer with Sobell House
An increasing number of businesses are giving staff members the opportunity to contribute to charities by volunteering for the day. We have different opportunities for people to spend a day here at the Hospice, supporting an event, or in one of our charity shops. Wherever you volunteer you are sure to have a great day with your colleagues whilst at the same time supporting Sobell House.
