Chaplaincy services

Our chaplains are here for patients, family, friends and staff. The service is open to and inclusive of people of faith and those of none, and many non-religious people have valued their support.

Our chaplains are skilled at talking about death, dying and bereavement and can help people think about their life story, their legacy and their funeral. They can provide a listening ear, spiritual support and comfort, with the belief that all human beings are spiritual and some choose to express that in a religious framework.

Our chaplains can be helpful in contacting your faith community to ensure you have the right faith, spiritual and cultural support that you need.

Our Chapel

We offer the chapel as a quiet, reflective, multi-faith space in the Hospice designed to enable everyone to express their feelings in a peaceful environment. It is resourced with poems, children’s books, candles and a variety of literature, secular and religious, to help people address the issue of grief.
