Becoming a corporate partner of Sobell House is a great way to engage your staff, raise your profile, have fun, and improve the lives of others. Sobell House very much relies on the kindness and generosity of so many businesses throughout Oxfordshire, who give both their time and money and go to incredible lengths to help us provide our life-enhancing care.

We’d like to say a big thank you to our current corporate partners who are helping to make a difference every day.

If you’d like to find out more about partnering with us, email our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Tim Wraith, or call him on 01865 857066.

Here are some of the ways you can partner with us:

Join the Sobell Business Club

The Sobell Business Club is a way for Oxfordshire companies to get involved with their local hospice and put caring with compassion and dignity at the heart of their Corporate Social Responsibility agenda. Depending on the size of your business, we have both Gold and Silver memberships to choose from.

The Sobell Business Club enables your business to:

  • Build great team spirit
  • Access a large audience through our website and social media channels
  • Grow your business contacts by attending our networking events
  • Promote your involvement through many other different channels
  • Receive complimentary places to our Business Breakfast and active events
Choose Sobell House as your Charity of the Year

Nominate Sobell House as your Charity of the Year and motivate and inspire your employees, customers and suppliers to raise as much money as they can for the Hospice and have fun in the process. We will work with you to create a bespoke calendar of engaging events, tailored to help meet your business goals and corporate social responsibility needs.

This is a great opportunity to unite your staff, customers and suppliers behind a worthwhile cause that they can identify with and feel passionate about – and have fun in the process. We will be on hand to advise how your staff can get involved in fundraising activities, volunteering time and skills, events, challenges and more.

Organise a one-off fundraising event

We receive incredible support from a huge diverse number of local businesses. If you have an idea about supporting our work we would love to hear from you! We have lots of ideas but I am sure you do too. We would love to chat – get in touch using the contact details at the top of the page.

Join us at a Sobell House Business Breakfast

Attend one of our Business Breakfasts which we hold throughout the year. The emphasis is very much on having engaging speakers in great venues. These provide a great opportunity to learn more about Sobell House, network with local business people and hear from an interesting and relevant speaker.

Sponsor a Sobell House event

We have a number of our own Sobell House events such as Light the Night and our Golf Day that are sponsored by local Oxfordshire businesses. This is a perfect opportunity to support the hospice and get your business out there in the community.

Take part in the Sobell House Golf Day

Over the last 10 years our annual Golf Day has gone from strength to strength and is a permanent fixture for many of our corporate supporters. Taking place at Studley Wood Golf Club, it is a great opportunity to have a brilliant day out, receive wonderful hospitality from the golf club, play 18 holes of golf, network and raise money to support the hospice. A win win!

Volunteer with Sobell House

An increasing number of businesses are giving staff members the opportunity to contribute to charities by volunteering for the day. We have different opportunities for people to spend a day either here at he hospice or in one of our retail shops. Wherever you volunteer you are sure to have a great day with your colleagues whilst at the same time supporting Sobell House.
